Sorry, there are no future dates available

Walk through the woods between the quay and Mill and look out for the six animals preparing to hibernate. As you go, collect twigs, rocks and leaves to add to our new bug hotel and habitat pile at Cotehele Mill.

Some animals hibernate over the winter, this means that they go into a very deep, sleep-like state to preserve energy.

Follow the path through the woods to learn about all the different animals that hibernate and what they need to do to prepare.

As you go, collect twigs, sticks, rocks and leaves to add to our collection at the Mill. These will be used to fill up our brand new bug hotel and habitat pile.

The trail starts by the morden bridge at the beginning of the path to Cotehele Mill.

The path can get muddy so make sure you wear your wellies or walking boots!

Access - This trail does not contain steps and is relatively flat, however it may be muddy and uneven in places.
