Polzeath is a very large sandy beach which is just north of the Camel Estuary.

The beach is popular with people who are learning to surf, and has lifegaurd cover during peak season. 

Although there is an expanse of sand at low tide, only a small area remains exposed at high tide, so time your visit well to make the most of your trip!
