Summerleaze Beach is a massive sandy beach which is manned by lifeguards during the summer. At low tide the beach connects to neighbouring Crooklets Beach.

As well as a vast stretch of sand, Summerleaze Beach also contains the tidal Bude Sea Pool. This part natural, part man made pool is topped by by high tide every day and is free for the public to use throughout the year.


Access: - there is easy, level access from the car park to the beach

Parking: - pay and display car park close to the beach

Toilets: - in the car park

Food: - there are shops and cafes in nearby Bude town centre

Dogs: - dogs are allowed year round, but from May - Sept, 10am - 6pm they must be on leads.
