Coulson park has a fenced children's playground, beautiful grassy river banks down to the river Fowey and well-established trees. 

From the end of Coulson Park you can walk along a short quay towards Shirehall Moor. There is a path which is gravelled and suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There are several picnic benches with barbecue spots.
